People started pregaming early Monday for the national championship game. But while many fans headed to bars and restaurants, residents of 119 University took a unique approach, renting a giant inflatable TV for the event.
A collection of lawn chairs and couches were strewn about the yard for spectators. By the start of the game the backyard had filled with hundreds of fans screaming the CATS chant in unison. When standing room became hard to find, people found seating on the roof of nearby garages.
After Kentucky clinched the win against Kansas, it took only a matter of seconds for the crowd to run over to State Street, resulting in a massive celebration.
