Westport Village in Louisville hosted its third annual Fall Fashion Show, presented by On the Rocks on Oct. 6.

The event showcased four local boutiques- Apricot Lane Boutique, Tunies, Collections and Darling State of Mind.

Hosted by WLKY-TV’s Alex Durham, the event kicked off with a cocktail hour featuring drinks from On the Rocks and small bites from local restaurants such as Boombozz Pizza and Watch Bar, Steak & Bourbon, Napa River Grill and more.

The forecasted trends for the fall include prints, leather, satin and sparkles, according to Durham, a reporter for WLKY.

“‘70s vibes are coming back,” said Sam from Darling State of Mind. “Floral, we’re thinking, trendy prints but with a fall twist.”

The fashion show included scenes titled Holiday Head Turners, Leather Weather and Pretty in Prints.

Apricot Lane Boutique supplied many pieces for the Leather Weather segment. “We’ve graduated from the leather legging to the pant to now the colored leather pants and skirts; everything,” said employee Wendy Boots.

Kentucky Humane Society kicked off the first scene by featuring its adoptable dogs. “Volunteers will be walking them down the runway,” Durham said.

Between each scene there were giveaways of prizes such as pieces from Clater Jewelers or training sessions from F45, according to Carmen from Westport Village.

The boutiques stayed open late after the show for shopping, will be open late for shopping with some offering deals or sales on merchandise.

Tickets were $30 for general admission and $45 for VIP.
