Greek week on UK’s campus

It’s Greek Week on UK’s campus. Each day this week an event has been planned to showcase some of the fundamental aspects of being part of the Greek community, including scholarship, leadership and philanthropy.
All UK students are welcome to attend any of these events.
Here is a list of the schedule of events:
Monday, March 19
Theta Chi presents “Greek Comedian”
8 pm, Rehearsal Hall at the Singletary Center
Tuesday, March 20
Pop in Philanthropy
10 am – 4 pm, first floor of the Student Center
Activities include making blankets for a children’s hospital through “Brittany’s Blankets” as well as writing letters to soldiers. This event runs all day and you all can “pop” in for any amount of time between class.
Tuesday, March 20
Rasheed Ali Cromwell, author of "Endangered Species: The Plight of African-American Fraternities and Sororities."

“The Miseducation of the Black Greek Experience”6 pm, Worsham Theatre
Rasheed Ali Cromwell will speak on what African – American Greek letter organizations are, their significance and myths surrounding them.
Wednesday, March 21
GPAC
6:30 pm, Memorial Hall
GPAC is the student government presidential debate. UK students are encouraged to come listen to the platforms of each candidate, as they will be future leaders of the University.
Thursday, March 22
Jim Host, founding chairman of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Guest Speaker Jim Host
Jim Host was a Delta Tau Delta at UK, the President of IMG, a member of the Greek Alumni Hall of Fame, and is currently chairman and CEO of iHigh.com.
Sunday, March 25
Panhellenic Spring Fashion Show
6 pm, Student Center Grand Ballroom
6 pm, Whitehall room 106
