Sarah Jane Estes is a local women’s wear designer in Lexington who hopes to one day build a career as a bridal designer.
This month she attended Nashville Fashion Week and opened her new studio.
On top of that, Estes is the co-chairman of the Lexington Fashion Collaborative. The non-profit works to bring awareness to the fashion community.
Estes began sewing when she was eight years old. She discovered she loved designing when she teamed up with one of her friends when she was about 15 and started screen printing t-shirts and working with patterns.
