WRFL-FM, University of Kentucky’s student radio station, celebrated its third annual Boomslang Festival Sept. 23-25 in Lexington.
The event, a celebration of sound, art and culture, welcomed scores of performers and artists to Lexington clubs and venues including Buster’s Billards and Backroom, Natasha’s, the Bar Lexington complex including the Roxy, Awesome, Inc. and Cosmic Charlie’s. Artists including Ty Segall, Swans, Tom-Tom Club, Pujol, Delicate Steve, R. Stevie Moore, Julianna Barwick and others performed.
