Many UK football fans are publicly voicing their frustrations as the team now sets at a 2-3 season. Some have even gone as far as to state that they’ve “lost all hope” in the football season. Other fans are simply saying they are looking forward to UK basketball season…when they will actually get to experience some wins. It all seems harsh, but imagine the impact of comments like these when it’s actually about you.
The players say they hear the comments and understand the frustration. UK offensive tackle, Billy Joe Murphy, says he’s frustrated, too. When it comes to the game, though, Murphy says he can’t let the public comments get in his head. Instead, he’s simply got to work on his game and get better.
