Osama Bin Laden is Dead.

At approximately 11:35p.m. Sunday, May 1, United States President Barrack Obama confirmed that terrorist and Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has been killed and his body is in U.S. possession.

Osama Bin Laden was the face of terror against the U.S. and was the architect of the attacks of 9/11. The president gave a speech that captured a moment of national unity that projected a feeling of relief and pride for those Americans who had given up hope that Bin Laden would be brought to justice.  President Obama spoke out, saying “justice has been done” and “a global terrorist has been brought to justice.”
CNN affiliates have confirmed this as well and are also covering the celebration that has ensued outside the White House in Washington, D.C. Americans look to be celebrating a day of triumph, now that Osama Bin Laden is dead.
The president explained that CIA operatives had Bin Laden surrounded and a “fire fight broke out” and the end result being that Bin Laden did not live through the end of the fight. CNN is reporting that Bin Laden was found in a mansion outside of Islamabad, in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Also, CNN reports that the CIA has confirmed, without a shadow of a doubt, that Bin Laden is dead.
Tonight is a true victory for the United States of America.
