The University of Kentucky community spend Monday wondering about a large-scale incident at popular 24-hour restaurant Tolly Ho that left several Ho employees injured and drew as many as 20 police cars to the corner of S. Limestone and Avenue of Champions.
Media reports and police officials say that hundreds of people were at the scene at the Ho. And, connections are being made by police between the fight at the Ho and both an earlier incident near The Loft in Victorian Square that left six people with stab wounds and yet another incident at The Waffle House.
Where’s the best information available on what happened at the Ho? Right on the restaurant’s Web site. The report above, at www.tollyho.com/dev/news, offers a straightforward look at some of the things that happened, along with stills from the retaurant’s security camera. Several Ho employees were injured trying to break up the fight and the restaurant had to be closed until 6 a.m. so employees could scrub away blood and bleach surfaces, according to the report on the site.
