Former UK quarterback Tim Couch was selected to be the face of the 2012 Keeneland/Maker’s Mark signature bottle today. This is the 16th edition of the charitable bottles. This year 20,000 bottles are being produced and are expected to raise $200,000. All proceeds will be donated to the Gill Heart Institute, a division of UK Healthcare.
A bottle signing is being held at Keeneland on April 13.
Couch played for the Kentucky Wildcats football team from 1996 to 1998. He was selected first overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 1999 NFL Draft, and he threw for over 11,000 passing yards during his five-year NFL career.
