One of UK’s top recruits this year has decided to play college ball in his home state.
C.J. Leslie, a high school teammate of John Wall, chose N.C. State over Kentucky yesterday afternoon.
The 6’8″ forward was ranked in the top 20 by numerous recruiting sites, and was a McDonald’s All-American this year.
However, Wildcat fans shouldn’t be blue just yet. It’s reported that Kentucky may get another top recruit in Terrence Jones this Friday. Jones is a 6’9″ forward from Portland, Ore.
Jones is set to make his announcement this Friday. The Louisville Courier-Journal says he will choose between Kentucky, Kansas, Washington, Oklahoma and Oregon.
