The weather today is a high of 34 degrees and a low of 29 degrees. Throughout the day we’ll see continued snow showers and wind, which will continue into Tuesday. All UK classes are still on a regular schedule.
Sports
According to UK Athletics news releases, the UK women’s golf team finished eighth out of 14 teams at the 2013 LSU Tiger Golf Classic. The girls shot 21-over-par and finished at 60-over, tying for the second lowest team score of the day.
On Sunday, the UK women’s tennis team lost 7-0 to No. 5 Georgia.
Upcoming Events
Craig R. Whitney, author of “Living with Guns: A Liberal’s Case for the Second Amendment,” and former reporter at The New York Times, will give a free lecture on gun control on March 28 at 7 p.m. in the Taylor Education Building at UK, according to the UK press release.
