BloodBrother
“Blood Brother,” winner of the Sundance Film Festival Audience and Grand Jury Awards for documentary, will premiere in Lexington at The Kentucky Theater on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $11 and all proceeds will go to the children seen in the film and other AIDS/HIV initiatives.
The film follows Rocky Braat, who went traveling through India aimlessly and ended up in an AIDS orphanage. The kids there so changed his life, he decided to move there permanently. Braat’s best friend and filmmaker Steve Hoover decided to go along with Rocky and see what he had experienced.
The result is… well, just watch and see for yourself.
